Okay, I know I am very behing. I apologize to my blog followers. I was gonna do some posting of pictures but my camera is dead and I wont have time to do it later so for now I will give you an update and pictures to come later. July has been a very busy month for us. My friend Julie and her husband bought a new home out in the country so they threw a big housewarming/4th of July party on the 3rd. My parents kept the older two so Jason and I could do something as a couple (+ Brooklyn, but she is the easiest baby so she is no trouble). It was a blast, we had lots of fun and everyone had fun passing brooklyn around and she hammed it up. We were there past 11 and she never once complained; everyone was blown away at how good she was. On the 4th we headed to Norfolk to visit by brother Travis and his family. They have a big blast in the park with jump gyms and sort of a mini-carnival complete with funnel cakes (Cassie) and then at night they do the big fireworks, but it was so cold that after supper the boys went and bought some big fireworks and let them off in the comfort of blankets on their porch. We had a good time. On the 5th as we were getting ready to leave their house the kids had a FANTASTIC idea (NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to jump on and off the guest bedroom bed. Hailee landed on Carter's arm as they were landing on the ground. Carter immediately strted complainig that his arm hurt; Jason has had some broken bones and recognized the way he was holding his arm so we took him to the ER in Norfolk and spent the next three hours there. He had a Growth Plate Fracture so they put a soft cast on it with instructions to have it X-rayed in a week by our doctor. We made it back to York after that with no trouble. That night Carter was being the bed sheriff and Jason noticed his cast was off. He said it wasn't comfy so he took it off. We wrapped it back up and sent him back to bed. The next morning it was off again because his arm didn't hurt. He never complained about it again, you would never have known he was hurt. I swear that kid is like a superhero and can heal his own bones. Carter turned 4 on the 8th. We spent the next weekend at home getting some things accomplished. On Sunday we spent all day at the pool, it was great since Jason was there I could go down the slides with Hailee and actually do some swimming. Hailee's birthday was on Friday the 17th so we headed to Lincoln for the day. Did some shopping and then spent about 3 hours at Chuck E Cheese's. We spent the weekend at my mom and dad's. We had a small birthday party for both kids on Saturday night. Hailee will get to have a friend brithday party this weekend. She is pretty excited.
Our July started with a bang (literally). We spend lots of time at the pool. Brooklyn loves the water; she gets so excited. She does not burn either; she has my skin and gets a tan instead. Carter is like Jason and burns so he wears a swimshirt which is actually kind of nice because he is pretty easy to spot with his shirt on. That is about all that has happened so far. Pictures will come later.
