On top of Carter being covered in my makeup, he had to complete the look by wearing Hailee's friend Aliyah's pink sunglasses and a leather jacket. Once again, Carter and his unique style take center stage. He is the funniest kid ever, not a day goes by that he doesn't make me laugh.

On Monday about noon the house grew very quiet and when that happens you know that Carter is up to no good. Sure enough, he had gottten into my makeup and was enjoying applying makeup to his face. It was so funny, he was extremely proud of himself. Instead of being mad I could not help but laugh hysterically at him.

We are redoing our basement and are going to turn it into a little in-home daycare. we really have the perfect area for it. This area right here will be an arts and crafts area. We took the old tile out and put new tile in. It really brightened up the room.

We went to the Children's Museum on Saturday. We had lots of fun. Hailee's favorite thing to do was pretending to be a Princess. They had all the princess costumes there, she just had to wear them all.

Bath Time

Carter woke up bright and early on Tuesday morning and we proceeded with our morning ritual of a little cuddle time, breakfast,and a new diaper. Carter had a surprise for me in his diaper, I'll give you a hint, it's not a toasterI cleaned him up a bit and then popped him in the sink. Carter thought that was pretty cool. It just proved the theory that children do not need toys. Let them explore and they will find something fun to play with. Carter had more fun with the faucet and sprayer.

While Carter was in the sink, he found my scrubber. He must have thought the countertop was dirty because he started to scrub them. He must watch me do it because he knew exactly what to do with it.

Nothing new going on at the Hablitzel house. Jason and I are going to get a weekend to ourselves this weekend. We are pretty excited about that. we probably won't do anything, but work on the basement. It still is a little bit of a break. Hailee is on her countdown to Adventureland. My dad and I are taking Hailee to Adventureland for a couple of days in August. She is getting very excited. Everyday she says "one less nap until we go." She measures days in how many naps she has to take. We had better go, we are touring Hailee's preschool today. Talk to ya later.

Princess Hailee

Hailee has this thing with anything princess. She puts on the princess attire and bops around and says the funniest things. We (Jason, Hailee, Carter, and I) were sitting down in the toy room and watching some princess movie. Hailee and Jason strike up a conversastion about princesses and Jason asks her what princesses do during the day,and she responds by saying, "Daddy, princesses don't do anything during the day they have to stay home and watch the kids." Then, Jason asks her what they do for money and she says the princess stays home with kids while the prince goes to work to make the money. It was one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

My best friend April came to visit from Colorado. We decided to go to Linclon and take the kids to the park. They had alot of fun together. I always hate leaving Lincoln and all the fun things there are to do. April has a little boy who is a few months older than Carter, his name is Jordan.

We had a double birthday party and BBQ on july 14. We had a really good time. We had family and friends over to celebrate. The kids got even more spoiled and our toy room got even fuller, but they [Hailee and Carter] enjoyed it. Hailee will be 5 on the 17th and Carter turned 2 on the 8th.
