Watermelon..........She Likes it

I decided to let her try watermelon and she really liked it. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and made a huge mess. In the above picture she is mad because she is soaked from head to toe in watermelon juice. She doesn't mind being dirty but being wet makes her angry.

Hailee's schoolwork, we don't have any pets so whenever they talk about pets and do assignments about pets she always refers to Abby, Gramma and Papa's big fat dog. She is a really good natured animal. She is really old but she absolutely adores the kids and they think she is awesome. Jason is not really an animal person so we will be lucky if we can have a cat, which I told Hailee that if she gets responsible enough she could have one, but knowing Hailee's level of responsbility it will be a very long time. She loses and forgets EVERYTHING, but she is slowly getting better. Being in 1st grade complete with homework and having to be respponsible for things has really helped. I just looked through my blog and realized that there are onlya few pictures of Hailee, I take the majority of my pictures during the day when she is at school because with only 2 I have a better chance of getting something accomplished; I'm not as outnumbered with one at school. She has school pictures today so I will scan those in and post them when we get them back.

This is my niece Andee she is 6 weeks younger than Carter do they have a neat bond. Last friday my dad went and picked Andee up from Norfolk and took her to spend the weekend at Gramma and Papa Karen's house (that is what she calls them). We spent the night with tehm on Friday too cause we wanted to spend some time with her. Hailee and I had a Girl Scout function on Saturday. We went skating and had a potluck pinic in the park. My mom and andee came skating with us and the rest of the crew met us at the park for the picnic. We had a really fun day. Andee came home with us on Saturday and spent the night. The pictures above are from the next day. I had another Girl Scout function on Sunday where there a carnivalish type thing in the park so we had another fun day. Andee didn't want to leave so Im assuming we will be making plans to keep her for another weekend soon.

One day when we were all down in the basement when Brooklyn found a marker (how I dont know ) and chewed the tip of it off and this was the result. I swear sometimes that she is a magician I was sitting a foot awayfrom her and didn't see her do it until she was covered in blue so she got yet another sink bath. I guess this is why you buy washable markers.

Carter's First Day of School

He went right into class and found some little boys playing with cars and joined right in and he looooooooooooves it. He looks forward to it everyday. he goes on MWF from 12:30 -3:30. It has been a really good thing, I can tell that he is gonna do so much growing up and it is a reeeeeeeeeeeally nice break for me to just get some alone time with Miss Brroklyn.

He was pretty excited about using his Bumblebee backpack that Travis and Cassie got him fo rhis birthday. He thought he was pretty cool and made sure to let everyone know that he was a big boy nowciz he goes to school.
