I dont have any pictures taken ( I have not been very good, I know) but I can do a quick update. Hailee started school on 13th, she is a big 1st grader this year and tells me how little the kindergarteners are; I quickly reminder her that she is not that much older and she takes it as such an insult. So far she really likes it but she has not had any homework yet, so time will tell. We signed her up for her dance classes this year. Kids are expensive, she is doing Tap, Ballet, and Clogging this year which meant she needed new shoes. Her clogging shoes themselves were $70.00 which does not include our monthly fee of $60.00. She needs new ballet ones but I was hoping to wait and find some ones but no luck thus far, she wont need new tap shoes becasue I bought her a new pair at the end of the year right before recital because I was informed the class befor erecital that Hailee's tap shoes were the wrong color, everyone had to match. She is playing soccer agin, but she will move up to the big league this year but she will basically have the same team. The coach is Hailee's best friends dad. His wife is a good friend of mine and we have a Bunco group that meets at least once a month for some eating, drinking, and socializing (we dont actually play Bunco though). A couple years ago we had a brilliant idea to make an all bunco team so our kids would be on the same team and we could socialize, its a blast and the kids enjoy it too.
Carter starts school this afternoon; I'm not sure who is more excited, him or me. He will go on MWF form 12:30-3:30 which will be so good for him and he will mature alot. It will be a nice break as well. He will also start playing soccer this fall and he is super excited to be big enough to play. Everyone we see hears that he's a big boy who goes to school and gets to play soccer. We went and bought his school supplies yesterday and of course he wanted Transformers notebooks and folders. His bookbag has Bumblebee on it so he thinks he is pretty cool.
Brooklyn is such a sweet angel , she is just absoluetly perfect and is such a gift. She has two teeth on the bottom and has learned to bite. If Hailee or Carter is mauling her and her whining is not working she will either pull their hair or bite to get her point across. I thin kshe is working on some more teeth becasue last night my mom and dad were gonna come upa nd have dinner with us and Brooklyn started with flu like symptoms of puking, pooping, and fever, but we gave her some tylenol, orajel, bath, and a lavender lotion massage and she was just fine. It took both of us with her which is so unuual because she is the easiest little thing so we decided to postpone our dinner date with them. They have not seen the kids in two weeks which is like an eternity with the relationship we all have.
I signed Jason up to be on the soccer board which he wasn't too pleased with( he'll get over it) and he got dooped into coaching Carter's soccer team and assistant coaching Hailee's. He came home from the meeting and said " I hope you're happy," I am it's good fro him to be involved with them. Some of my happiest memories are of my dad coaching my softball team. Work is work, he enjoys his job but everyone is so negative so he has a hard time staying positive with all the negativity surrounding him but things are actually getting better slowly but surely. Other than a busy school year starting not much else is going on with us.
