We also went to the park with our feild trip. We ordered pizza and they played at the park. They have a train ride so we went on a train ride. The train is pretty cool, it has an engineer witha caboose complete witha a conductor who is standing by mom in the above picture. It was a fun day and my girld really had a good time.

Beauty School Drop- Outs

My Girl Scout troop sold lots of cookies this season and made lots of money for our troop and their reward from me as their leader was a feild trip. I had the girls vote and they decided that a makeover was the way to go. I took them to the beauty school in Grand Island, they all got their hair done all pretty with make up and even a spa manicure. They had lots of fun. My mom stoopped to visit and Hailee was very proud that her Grandma was there. My Girls all prettied up Top Row: (left to right) Breanna, Harley, Aleyah,Hailey and Jessica. Bottom Row: Molly, Morgan, Hailee, Kenzie, and Caitlin

Evening out her bangs because a couple weeks ago on the bus ride home Hailee let her "friend" cut her hair and she took quite a chunk out of her bangs. Hailee saw how much she cut and said " My mommy is gonna be really mad." We told her she was no longer allowed to talk, sit or be "friends" with this little girl ever again. What she was doing with a pair of scissors is beyond me.

New kicks

Carter needed some new tennis shoes so we let him pick them out. I'm thinking we probably should not have done that cause this is what we went home with. He refused to get any thing else. Jason and I were both trying to talk him into something else but no luck. As we were leaving Jason says if its any consolation you just made a three year little boy very happy. He was proud of them and had to show everyone. Carter has his own unique style.

Mother's Day Gifts

This is the book Jason bought me Card from my mom and dad

A card from my munchkins

My gift from my girls

Carter's gift

Digging

he's stomping on the bug
putting the bug down
enough with the bug back to business
Carter found a bug while he was digging. He wouldn't touch it but it was okay if it was on the shovel

We had a nice Mother's Day weekend at my parents house in GI. WE went tthere on Friday after Jason got home from work. After the kids went to bed we stayed up and drank beer while playing Mexican Train Dominoes which is always a blast, but my dad had had enough losing for one night and conked out at about 11 (party pooper). My mom and I spent all day Saturday shopping; we brought Brooklyn with us and she was so good the whole time we barely even noticed she was there. We had three people stop us at the mall and tell us Brooklyn belonged in a Gerber baby commerical becuase she is so beautiful. We think so but I thought we were biased, I guess not. On Sunday we went out for Breakfast and to Wal-Mart to get flowers (every year since Hailee was able to walk it's been a tradition to plant flowers in their flower beds on Mother's Day weekend). Hailee and Brooklyn gave me a necklace and Carter got me a bracelet for Mother's Day. Since we have moved to a small town I had to find a hobb while the kids are at the park because the park is the only place to go; so I took up reading. I have been into the Twilight series and am too cheap to buy books so I rent them from the library but the book I have been wanting to read is always checked out so Jason bought it for me which was really a thoughtful gift.

She makes the funniest faces

Finished result; you can see the blue all over her outfit
Preety focused on that popsicle
Carter thought Brooklyn needed some so he gave her a bite she thought it was awesome

Getting Ready

Officially Spring???? Not so much as I'm writing this on a chilly rainy day. Carter thought it was summer last week when there were a couple nice days in a row so I got all the kids warm weather clothing out and bought some popsicles because what's summer without popsicles. Carter was pretty excited.

So excited for his popsicle

Cereal

As you can see from the pictures we started giving her rice cereal but she is not real enthused about it so she spits most of it back out at me, but well keep trying. what was that?

and again
spitting it back out at me
looking unimpressed

Well it happened. My baby turned 6 months old last Wednesday. When she was born I wish they would have had time-stopping serum so she would saty little forever because she very well could be our last baby. I say could be not a definate.
