The Loot from my Surprise Baby Shower

I have to say that moving to York was a really hard thing to do because I am not a natural born small-town person, but God has a reason for everything. I have made the world's greatest friends and they have been such a blessing to me, I have never felt so much love and acceptance from anyone, except my family (who are fantastic). I thank the Lord all the time for the people in my life. My friends and I are a real close knit group and a we get together at least once a month for a social night of eating and drinking. A couple weeks ago they got together and threw me and Baby Brooklyn a surprise baby shower. I was almost brought to tears, that was one of the nicest things that anyone could have done. It meant so much to me and made me realize how truly blessed I am. Not everyone has wonderful family and friends. Thanks again girls, I love each and everyone of you.

Carter showing "baby sissy" some love

Last Saturday we went to GI for the day because the Harvest of Harmony parade was there and its kind of a tradition to go. Hailee was at Travis and Cassie's for the day so we just had Carter and that is always kinda nice to just have one. We didn't stay at the parade for too long actually it was kinda cold and we found a horrible place to sit so we got some breakfast and watched at home in the comfort of a warm couch. At my dad's office they were having a promo event where the Nascar Alltell car was gonna be out there to see and tiem people on how fast they could change a tire. Carter was just amazed, it was a "cool ky" and he was totally in love. They also had hot dogs, pop, and popcorn out there, needless to say it was a good time adn Carter really enjoyed being out there. We had a fun day. Below are soem pictures from the event.

I had him switch the lighting, but it is no better; he says normal lighting is too boring, so sorry if they are too dark to even see; go ahead and blame Jason
Jason and his funky lighting

Spiderman

Her comes Carter on the clothesline, but his name's not Carer it is Spiderman. All you Family Guy fans get the joke I hope, if not ask Jason

I took the munchkins to the park and got some photos of me pushing them because it will soon be more than I can do. Hailee as you can see wanted me to put the camera down andpush higher, imagine that.

Soccer

Hailee's soccer team. Me and my girlfriends put a monopolyon and had Steve (the coacha nd my friend Tina's husband) pick all of our children to be on the same team so we could get together every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with soccer as our excuse. It worked rather well. From Left to right is Halle, Josh(up top), Hailee, Jakub(top), Steve (coach), Nathan, Aleyah, and Ben; I think we were missing a few that day. We put a donation in Steves name in The YYSA for his sacrifice, he had his hands full and we really appreciated it. Thanks Steve. The team again during half time

Hailee after scoring a goal
I have a really funny story about Hailee, Jason, and soccer. Last year Hailee wanted nothing to do with soccer or anything she just ran up and down the field, well this year someone tured on her competitive switch and she atually played some ball. Jason was very excited that she is pretty good at his sport. At her second game of the season she scored two goals and almost made two more, she was pretty excited and Jason was telling her how proud of her he was when Hailee said at her next game she was going to score TEN goals. WE all laughed but Jason took it one step further and said "Hailee, if you score ten goals next game, I will buy you anything you want." Next game comes around and she is playing awesome and just keeps scoring and scoring. Jason is squirming at every goal she makes, my friends are all giggling and keeping count becuase I had told them of his deal with Hailee, and Hailee is just beaming with excitement. She scored 12 goals that night, Yes 12. Luckily for Jason she forgot all about his deal becuase she was so excited at scoring all the time and being the center of attention. It was quite funny. We thought for sure we were gonna end up having a pony in the backyard.

Racetrack

My sweet and handsome little boy

Carter playing with his "kys" Carter is pretty easily self-entertained, which is really nice. He had a blast playing with a bunch of different cars, he was using one of my nightgowns as a race track for the cars. Of course tghe moment would not have been complete wthout his favorite thing on, those darn cowboy boots.

Lazy Monday

Hailee did not have school on Monday and when they are both home and I try to get something accomplished the day is really long and hard so I decided I to say just for today I will let everything go and enjoy them both being home so we decided to have a movie and snack day. We stayed in our pj's until 3:00 in the afternoon and watched movies all day and I did not do one bit of cleaning. The munchkins would much rather have a mommy beside them than a clean house. WE took advantage and enjoyed our day.Enjoying the pj and popcorn day
