Santas Little Helper
Hailee had specific ideasa of what she wanted to get Grandma and Papa for Christmas. Papa needed new slippers so Hailee told him she had already got him some new slippers. We hadn't got him any, but we were gonna now. Hailee said Grandma needed some new jewelry so I took her to the store and let her pick out some jewelry for her. She picked out a really pretty opal and diamond earring and necklace set. So Papa got soem new slippers and Grandma got new jewelry. This picture is of Hailee giving Grandma her new jewelry.

We had a pretty busy Christmas. We went to my parents house on Saturday and my mom and I went shopping all day. Jason had been gone so much in December that it was almost virtually impossible to get any Christmas shopping done so I ended up doing the majority of it in terribly crowded and busy stores on saturday. Travis, Cassie, and Andee came home on Sunday. My parents house was really full with three children and 6 adults but I love it when everyone is there. Carter and Andee are buds but they definately are double trouble so watch out. Hailee tries to mother them of course. We went out to my grandpa's house for the Arends family (my moms side) dinner and visited with everyone. Monday was Christmas Eve; we opened gifts about noon and Jason and I tried to figure out how to fit it all in the van and where we would put it all once we were home. It looked Toys R Us had the flu. We all went to church, came home and had soups for supper and got to see what "santa" brought them. They were very excited. Hailee got a Princess Arise and Carter got this motorized Spiderman motorcycle. We headed back to York that night so we could open up our gifts Christmas morning. It was really nice to incorporate old traditions as well as new ones. Once again Toys R Us puked everywhere and we had to figure out what to do with it all. We had an absolutely fabulous season and had to sit back and see how blessed we are.
Tonka Truck
I bought Carter one of those heavily advertised Tonka trucks and Carter absolutely loves it. You can never go wrong with a riding toy, Carter just loves his riding toys. When he rides this one it is so funny because it has a gear shifter and before Carter goes forward or reverse he puts it in gear. He also has to press the horn to get in the mood of driving.

The Three Musketeers

Carter has a tail
Jason had taken Carters sweatshirt on before nap and when Carter woke up he attempted to put it back on. He also put on Hailee's sparkly cowboy boots. Hailee says, "Mommy, look Carter has a tail," because the hood of his sweatshirt was by his bum.. It was a pretty funny sight, he is such a goofy kid.
Carter and his uniqueness
